About the Event
Anvayins is a knowledge-based travel company. In our endeavour to popularise Sports Tourism in Northeast India, we organised the First ever Ultra-Run in Kaziranga, Assam, on January 28, 2023.
With the success of our first event, we at Anvayins are confident that such initiatives will help promote Northeast India, a land of exquisite natural beauty and extraordinary socio-cultural practices. Kaziranga, arguably the best-known face of Assam, is home to the rare one-horned rhinoceros. With focused efforts by the government, there has been a steady decline in the poaching of Rhinos. In the year 2022 the poaching number was Zero. The Anvayins Kaziranga Ultra Run 2023 is an initiative by Anvayins to sensitize and promote the cause of rhino conservation.

It was my first visit to Northeast. What better place to run than near the Kaziranga National Park! The run was through a very serene terrain, especially running through the tea plantations. It was very exciting. The local crowd was quite motivating and supportive. A big hand to the police who were clapping throughout. Quite rare to see that. Great efforts by Anvayins and the team.

The experience was wonderful. It was a village trail, so always welcome. I loved the trail, it was very different from the urban trails with all sky scrapers around me. This trail I saw small school and small kids running around us. Running through forests, I spotted some animals. It was indeed a unique experience!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Anvayins Kaziranga Ultra Run! There were lots of hydration points, which I have never seen in an Ultra Run. The route was very challenging, and you get to know yourself more, your limits when you run a challenging route. I am looking forward for the next edition.

The run was fantastic. The trail was awesome, running through tea gardens. I used to run in Hathikuli Garden, but I have never done such a long trail run. I have done 15K before, but this was my first 26K run. I am happy that Anvayins has conducted this event and I look forward to more runs in Kaziranga
